Nestle is buying Jenny Craig for $600 million. Yes, the chocolate company. Yes, the weight loss institution. Now does this make any sense whatsoever?!?
It's part of the company's, "committment to nutrition, health, and wellness." I myself had no idea that eating a Hershey bar was nutritious. Nougat is apparently one of the food groups now. Not to mention the fact that Nestle already owns PowerBar AND Lean Cuisine. Unbelievable!
Soon all diet programs will be chocolate related. Hey, did you know that eating chocolate is like having sex, and having sex burns at least 150 calories. A=B, B=C, therefore, A=C. Hooray, you burn calories eating chocolate. Thanks set theory! i love your disbutive law! Wow, eight bars of chocolate and a Hershey's kiss for dessert in my pre-packaged diet meal. This IS living!
Actually, this merger just seems like it will be self-perpetuating. You eat chocolate, get fat, go to Jenny Craig to lose weight, lose weight, and as a reward eat some chocolate... Ouroboros! Endless circle, over and over again. Never-ending business. Actually, if you ask me, Nestle is brilliant! Evil, but brilliant.
