And the time has come...

We have lost a true American hero today. Someone who has touched the lives of millions and millions of people. His persistent commenting on the plight of the common worker and also the attitude which should be applied to all of life's situations will sorely be missed. Many a day, when I felt that I could no longer go on, when I felt that the world was just too difficult, when I just wanted to give up, to quit... I didn't.

Instead, I thought... what would Michael Vale, aka. Fred the Baker do? He'd make the fucking donuts, that's what! None of this sitting on your ass, pissing away your life, complaining that you have it so hard. I mean, this character had to get up at what, 3 AM in the goddam morning, no matter how tired he was and shuffle off to Dunkin' Donuts, in order to make your breakfast, even before you get up to go to your job.

So the next time life has you down; the next time you're sick and tired of everything; the next time you're mad as hell and not going to take it anymore; I want all of you to scream at the top of your lungs, "Time to make the donuts, motherfucker!" You may of course leave off the mother fucker part at the end, but I totally leave that up to you. If you do leave off the motherfucker part, may I suggest the "rockin' out" hand gesture?

So think a little bit about Michael Vale today. And know that everything is fine now, because he's making the donuts for Jesus now.
